At the beginning of creating an online income stream, it seems like you will never get traffic. It feels like you are writing and writing and no one is reading it. And then you have the challenge of making your website look professional. At first, it just doesn’t. It lacks the pizzazz that websites that have thousands of dollars behind them have. And then something goes wrong, like it did for me yesterday. I was wanting to switch hosting and the site support for my wealthy affiliate hosting moved a site to a website address and removed the content there. I stressed out and fretted. I was horrified that I didn’t specify exactly what was to happen with my site and the assumptions they made. In the end, it will work out. I don’t have a ton of backlinks to my new website and I didn’t derail a lot of visitors, because my site isn’t even ranked yet.
Some days, you are highly productive and some days, you just want to quit. Yesterday, was an I want ot quit day. But, today is a new day. I’m going to keep climbing because i know that one setback does not have to mean the end of the journey. One setback is just that. It is a setback. I can overcome it! I’m going to polish my websites, by adding some links and pictures to them.
One thing that I am absolutely certain about is that once the uphill battle is over, you have a wonderful view from the summit and going downhill is a heck of a lot easier! So, I will endure the painful lessons of learning how to get a nice looking, content rich, niche website going. I’ll put extra effort in today, so that tomorrow, I can enjoy the view and the days can get easier and easier.
